Exacta Technologies & Covid-19 Update
So here we are, the 20th May see's the launch of our brand-new website! This seems to have taken time to be where we are at but, as you can see beautifully designed and has a great customer journey running through it and would be good to hear your feedback. This has been an incredible 12 months at Exacta Technologies, a year ago we engaged with Adrian Gill and his team at GHJ. Who have helped us re-focus the business, we have created a brand which runs across the business and we are taking this opportunity to thank them for what they have helped create.
We now have four distinctive brands which holds Exacta at the heart of everything we do. Blackcore Technologies, our overclocked HFT brand, Exacta Pro-line, the very best in high end workstations, Exacta Go-Configure, the easy to use, build your own server, configuration tool and of course our bread and butter brand Exacta Platform, our beautiful core business product; offering to help software vendors who want to take a product to market. This all sits under the Exacta Technologies Group heading.
In March we successfully moved from our old facility in Chew Valley, South Bristol to our new £1m facility in Emersons Green Bristol and we would like to thank all the people that helped us get to where are. The challenges were unprecedented, but somehow, we made it! Thank you to Mark Bayley at Real Estate Advisory Services, who I know at times had seen no end of issues, he got us moved in on time and managed the project fantastically.
Clearly Covid-19 is hitting the industry hard and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families that have lost someone due to this horrendous disease. Our front-line NHS, Care & Key Workers have been doing an incredible job; seeing the numbers falling, gives us real encouragement that there may be an end in sight.
Here at Exacta, we have been weathering the storm well, with all my Sales, Admin and Technical team working from home; production have been doing a magnificent job based on split shifts working 7 days a week. As of the end of April across the group we are 50% up on the same point last year. May is shaping up and has the potential to be a record month for us, and we are planning that with the correct social distancing measures to see a return to our new state-of-the-art office in early June, but clearly we are monitoring the situation.
We have new starters Chloe Vidaurri, Marketing and Hayley Lawton, Logistics who have joined us in the last couple of months and have been a great addition to the team, albeit virtually now!
We have seen the launch of the new Blackcore website, the launch of 2 new exciting, and massively stable products! So far, we have seen a good level of unprecedented enquiries and are thrilled to have such fantastic products at our disposal. We are delighted to have secured a significant contract with Iris Software Group, to build their network appliances, based on Intel's new Juniper pass platform and would like to thank the team at Intel for their support on this; we are really excited on this partnership. Also, we are delighted to announce a significant Military contract for the supply of our Pro-Line Workstations, this is our largest deal for workstations and are therefore, so thrilled to have been chosen for this contract.
As you can see things are pressing on here at Exacta Technologies and we are looking forward to returning to work in our new building, I wish you all wellness and I trust you are keeping safe.
