Designed and built for you

There are many companies that can supply a standard, off the shelf appliance, if that is what is needed. However at Exacta we are dedicated to working to ensure that the same attention to detail goes into the design and manufacture of our hardware solutions that has already been invested by our customers in creating the application.

Exacta offers software vendors a full design, build, test and logistics service working in partnership with their software development team to deliver appliances that are proven fit for purpose.

Delivering software as an appliance

Increasingly software vendors are choosing to supply their solutions as a plug and play appliance. The alternative of allowing end-users to down load software or install an application from a CD ROM leaves the way open for problems that are beyond the vendor’s control.

Custom Design

Exacta has developed close working relationships with a wide range of fabrication companies enabling us to select the right hardware configuration for the environment where it is to be ultimately deployed. We can offer a full range of standard rack mounted servers or the latest blade server chassis, as well as desk top and pedestal systems customised to enhance the client’s brand values.

Unlike other manufacturers our customisation options extend beyond the simple attachment of the company logo to the bezel to include full powder coating of the appliance in the company’s corporate colours. If the appliance is intended for deployment in a harsh or hostile environment we can also offer ruggedized solutions built and tested to the highest specifications and capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and any amount of rough treatment.

Virtual Factory

Exacta’s flexible range of service options are designed to meet the individual needs of vendors, including the handling of the whole process from prototyping and building the appliances; loading and testing the application; production of the installation guides and user documentation through to branded packaging and shipping directly to the end user, essentially acting as a virtual factory and manufacturing partner for our diverse customer base.
