Exacta Technologies Ltd - 01 03 2011 UK appliance manufacturer, (http://www.exactatech.com), today announced the celebration of 10 years in business.

Since 2001, Exacta has evolved into a major manufacturer; building some of the UK & Ireland’s best network appliances and distributing all over the world.


"What started out 10 years ago on a shoe-string budget has steadily grown into a business far exceeding anyone's expectations," said Nick Rogers, Managing Director & Co-Founder. "We are all very proud of this accomplishment and grateful to our customers and employees who helped get us here."


Exacta was founded in March 2011 by Nick Rogers & Matthew Copsey: Both previous employees of CompuAdd Computers, Bristol based PC Maker. Nick & Matt saw an opportunity to create something new after the sale of CompuAdd to Compusys. ‘We started the company working out of a 500 sq ft storage unit in the middle of winter with no heating and I remember turning to Matt and asking what the hell have we done!!!’ Rogers commented.


Now building out of there 10,000 sq. ft. production facility in the rural village of Ubley just outside Bristol, Exacta now employs a 15 strong team,


"Today Exacta not only delivers bespoke servers, but also provides some very specialist appliances, designed and produced in Ubley, Copsey added ‘it’s not just about putting a badge on the front of a server, our customers want a real brand appliance, different colours, cardboard boxes with logo’s, appliances pre-configured and shipped direct to their customers as if it had come from them. Also adding the fact we can now make an appliance to pretty much any size, shape or colour, we are very proud in what we have accomplished in 10 years’



Added Nick Rogers , Managing Director, "During the first 10-year’s, our focus has shifted, where in the early days most of the products we were producing were predominantly desktop based, however 80% of the appliances we now ship are server based."


Continued Rogers, "By being in touch with our customers, understanding there business, this has allowed us to grow with them. That's one of the major reasons why we have been so successful. After the last 2 years of substantial growth and profits we are very much look forward to the next 10 years."
